Singtel Singapore has secured five honors at the 2026 Asian Innovation Excellence Awards. The organization was honored for achievements regarding enterprise connectivity, cyber defense, risk handling, and workflow efficiency.

The accolades emphasize Singtel’s drive to convert technological progress into tangible value for clients and internal processes. These efforts include assisting firms in overseeing connected devices across global regions and protecting sensitive information against future quantum threats, as well as utilizing digitalization and automation to refine field workflows, upgrade service delivery, and boost operational efficiency.

Creating smart and secure connectivity for businesses

As companies increase the use of connected devices internationally, managing distinct networks, regulations, and security demands can become complicated. Singtel’s Global IoT Connectivity platform resolves this by offering firms a unified method to connect, oversee, and track their IoT assets in various markets.

The solution utilizes AI to assist in identifying and fixing connectivity and security issues. Its global SIM card can automatically adjust connectivity based on coverage, rules, and regulatory standards.

Singtel has also incorporated AI into the service to provide enterprises increased oversight and control over large fleets of connected equipment. Via the AI Studio, companies can observe device and network activity instantly, identify suspicious communication patterns and possible threats, and restrict which applications and services specific groups of devices can access.

Artificial intelligence also aids operational groups in diagnosing connectivity problems faster. Rather than juggling multiple systems and diagnostic tools, teams can utilize natural-language queries to look into issues like inactive SIM cards or connectivity failures.

The AI Advisor examines pertinent device, network, and policy details to pinpoint probable causes and suggest or start suitable service actions, thereby assisting companies in cutting down troubleshooting time and operational complexity.

Beyond smart connectivity, Singtel is aiding enterprises in preparing for a distinct cybersecurity challenge: the potential for quantum computing to break the encryption methods currently in widespread use.

Its Hybrid Quantum-Safe Network enables organizations to strengthen the defense of sensitive data without needing to overhaul their current infrastructure. This managed service merges Quantum Key Distribution and Post-Quantum Cryptography to secure data traveling between data centers, cloud environments, branch offices, and international operations.

Changing operations to better serve customers

Singtel is applying digitalization, automation, and real-time data to change its own operations. Its award-winning OPE Integrated Management System – Digital Field Force alters how field tasks are planned, assigned, and managed.

Its OPE Integrated Management System – Digital Field Force gives field engineers, controllers, and operational teams a common view of jobs and resources, automates routine processes, and provides real-time information to support faster decision-making.

The system assigns jobs to field engineers based on criteria such as location, skills, and availability. Controllers can track work in progress and reallocate resources when circumstances change.

Automated checks and controls have shortened the processing of contractor claims, and real-time dashboards provide Singtel teams and external partners with greater insight into project progress, inventory, and on-site safety compliance.

By consolidating operational information in real time, the system allows teams to spot emerging service issues early and intervene before they impact customers, shifting field operations from simply reacting to problems toward anticipating and preventing them.
